Research Center for Economic and Social Statistics in Asia (ReCESSA) was established in April 2012, as a part of the research project of the Center for Economic and Social Studies in Asia (CESSA), Department of Economics at Yokohama National University. The purpose of ReCESSA is to construct and publish the database on Asian economic and social statistics.
CESSA was founded in April 2012, with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The purpose of CESSA is to improve the quality of research and education at YNU and also to publish research achievements in the field of economic and social studies in Asia.
